VoIP Call Center Provider PowerNet Global Recognized for Community Service

PowerNet Global (News - Alert), a provider of VoIP call center solutions, has been honored with the 2012 Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service. The VoIP call center provider, known for its strong business ethics, integrity, and reliability, won the award for making outstanding contributions to the community.
The goal of the Medical Mutual Pillar Award is to encourage a charitable environment and recognize creative efforts that make a difference, a press release revealed. The award, presented by Smart Business Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, also demonstrates the ties between the for-profit and nonprofit worlds.
"We aren’t a huge company, but we have a lot to give. Many companies have money and time, but PowerNet Global also has a lot of heart, which is evidenced by the generosity and dedication of our employees," said Bernie Stevens, president and CEO of PowerNet Global, in a statement.
"I am honored to accept this award on behalf of PowerNet Global and thank Smart Business, Medical Mutual, and everyone else that make the Pillar Awards possible."
The company was recognized for its “everyday practices that include sponsoring and participating in events that give back to the community, providing financial contributions to various causes, and encouraging employees to volunteer personal time with its Charitable PTO program,” the release added.
The PowerNet Global Social Committee is involved in a number of charitable efforts and continuously organizes a variety of events throughout the year, while also providing employees with opportunities for fun and fellowship.
Some of the organizations that have benefitted from these activities include the American Heart Association, City Gospel Mission, Crayons to Computers, Fairfield Food Pantry, Focas Ministries, Jobs Plus, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PregnancyCare of Cincinnati, Race to Unity, and many more.
Recently, PNG was also chosen as the recipient of the 2011 Best of Fairfield Award in the Telecommunications Services category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA). In addition, the VoIP call center provider has won several awards for its outbound dialer long distance service, NetDialer, which is specifically designed for dialer and outbound call centers. NetDialer was selected as a recipient of the 2011 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award, shortly after receiving the 2011 INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Award in October.
