Unicoi Systems to Showcase New VoIP Call Center Offerings at Embedded World Conference

The multiple benefits associated with implementing a Voice over IP (VoIP) system in various businesses including call centers have helped this trend to become increasingly popular. However, sometimes integrating VoIP functionality into existing systems can be a challenge to these enterprises.

To address these challenges faced by VoIP call center providers and enterprises, several vendors have come up with solutions like VoIP gateways that help users embed VoIP features into their existing communications devices with ease.

Unicoi Systems, a provider of VoIP solutions to the embedded device market, has recently revealed that it will be participating in this year’s Embedded World Conference in Nuremberg, Germany where its latest InstaVoIP line of products will be displayed.

Based on the company’s Fusion Embedded RTP and SIP protocols, the InstaVoIP family includes a full-featured Call Manager and Voice Engine that enables providers to add VoIP or Radio over IP (RoIP) functionality to virtually any device including IP Phones, SoftPhones, VoIP ATAs, RoIP Gateways, security call-boxes, VoIP call center platforms, and more.

Some of the InstaVoIP products on display include InstaVoIP Embedded, InstaVoIP Mobile and InstaVoIP Desktop and the hardware/software solution InstaVoIP Module.

“In today’s fast-paced telecom environment, embedded developers are constantly faced with time-to-market pressures and often have to provide solutions across multiple platforms,” said Greg Coonley, CEO and founder of Unicoi Systems, in a statement. “The InstaVoIP family can help alleviate these pressures by providing developers with a fully functional VoIP subsystem that works the same across every platform they need to support.”

InstaVoIP Embedded is available in C source code and is platform-independent software that runs on virtually any embedded operating system or processor. InstaVoIP Mobile, on the other hand, is a binary library optimized for iOS and Android (News - Alert). InstaVoIP Desktop is a binary library optimized for Windows, Linux and MacOS, according to the company.

The InstaVoIP Module from Unicoi Systems can be used for a new design or as a co-processor to add VoIP to an existing design. Featuring a powerful hardware module that includes pre-integrated port of InstaVoIP Embedded, a Fusion Net TCP/IP stack, a customizable configuration Web application, and Fusion RTOS, this solution allows can business to leverage the capabilities that VoIP has to offer without any complexity.
